The Road Less Traveled - Being Financially Free

I have always been told "to be successful" in life, you have to go by the rules. And by the 'rules' I mean: You need to study hard, get good grades, go to college, graduate, get a good J.O.B (which stands for "Just Over Broke" in today's market) and work for a great company. Have you ever heard this?

After graduating from high school and attending a couple semesters to college, I quickly realized that is not the case. I used to be one of those people with the employee mentality, but not anymore. In fact, I just took the path to financial freedom and do not regret it.

'No' is a word on your path to 'Yes'. Don't give up too soon. Not even if well-meaning parents, relatives, friends and colleagues tell you to get 'a real job'. Your dreams are your real job.

In the past, I have taken the safer road, the road that 98% of the people take and it has not paid any dividends. Let me ask you this... do you like to be told what to do?, when to come to work, what you should get paid, and when your next vacation is gonna be? Do you want that? If you are like many people who do not, then you need to make a change. I have learned that I was put in this world to do great things. But is it worth the effort, if you could have financial freedom and spend more time with your loved ones? If you never had to worry about your alarm clock going off, what is it worth to do? Life is short, and time is ticking!

Face it...working for somebody else is not gonna make you rich no matter how good a J.O.B you have. You're only making the owners of the company you're working for richer. You might earn very good money but you're never going to get the financial and time freedom that you deserve.

Honestly, I don't see the need of working for somebody all your life when you can be your own boss and make more money as an entrepreneur.

Life shouldn't be spent worrying about money and stressing about financial problems. We should be able to have the Financial Freedom to get what we want when we want it. And then you ought to have the Time Freedom to enjoy what you have. It's not the material things that matter the most but just having a stress-free worry-free life with all the time to spend with the people I care about the most.

Lastly, I thank God for giving me an opportunity to be Financially Free, but most importantly, the "Opportunity" to be able to tell the world about the same "Great Opportunity" that has allowed me to kiss my bosses "Goodbye".

I leave you with this: "Two roads diverged in the woods, and I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference."
